Once you've got 5+ product teams, each with its own PM, Product Designer, and Engineers, it's time to get serious about planning. That's because squads' roadmaps start depending on each other.

In short, it stresses the importance of concise "intent" communications from leadership to teams that balance specificity with flexibility. In most organizations, that means Engineering, Product, and Design Leadership need to step up their game. :-)
